The legislation may evolve over time based on changes in government administration, but there’s no doubt the PPACA, coupled with a severe economic downturn, has spurred many healthcare organizations to take a closer look at their operating models and business strategies. New models primarily are focused on operating on Medicare margins as well as the "Triple Aim" of better health, better care, and lower costs for the overall population.
