Achieve HIT

McKesson developed its Achieve HIT program to educate hospitals and physicians about the opportunities healthcare information technology (HIT) affords to earn incentives under the HITECH provisions of the ARRA. The program is also designed to help healthcare providers optimize and accelerate their efforts to achieve meaningful use of a certified Electronic Health Record (EHR) and qualify for the government incentives.

Achieve HIT is focused on helping providers understand how the stimulus package could - and should - affect their HIT plans. To qualify for government incentives, providers will need to demonstrate meaningful use of a certified EHR system. Our goal is to support hospitals and physician practices as they work to demonstrate meaningful use, earn stimulus incentives and avoid penalties.

Whether through first-time deployment of an EHR or completion of existing HIT projects, McKesson's Achieve HIT program can help you:

  • Make care safer and more connected
  • Improve outcomes and reduce costs
  • Secure stimulus incentives and avoid penalties

As you investigate the opportunities that the ARRA legislation creates, you can turn to us to provide expert guidance and assistance.
