I support McKesson's vice president of Corporate Communications and Brand. More recently, I have also had the opportunity to work with the broader Corporate Communications team on special projects.

I decided to return to college to complete something that I started years ago — to get a bachelor's degree. My focus is on English and communications. Since I've started my classes, I realize it isn't the degree itself that's so important, but the sense of achieving a long-postponed goal.

Through our tuition reimbursement program, McKesson pays for my tuition costs. I was only able to consider going back to college because of the reimbursement.

As I work more closely with other members of the Corporate Communications team, what I'm learning in my classes has helped me become more confident. By learning formal writing and research techniques, my ability to do my job well has been enhanced. It also has helped to fulfill a personal goal I've had for many years — to finish my college degree.
