Beyond Meaningful Use Reporting: Data-driven Clinical Improvement

January 19, 2012
Speaker: Kim Halbur, MBA, RHIA, CPHQ, Business Advisor, McKesson Provider Technologies

Achieving meaningful use and gaining stimulus incentives is more than a technology exercise. For many organizations it has required a complete revision of a long held tenet that technology “solves all problems”. Kim Halbur has spent much of the past year working with organizations to implement meaningful use measures and capitalize on the results to instill analytics competencies that drive clinical improvement. In this session, organizations will gain the following insights:

  • Review the experience of early adopters; where are the critical decision points, best practices and reflection on the process
  • Assess the meaningful use readiness of your organization from both a technology and a cultural perspective
  • Understand the four concepts of improvement using meaningful use measures
