iKnowMed Mobile 12.0.0 Release Notes
iKnowMed Mobile version 12.0.0 is required to continue placing orders from the mobile app.
What’s new
-
Starting Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, orders will no longer be supported unless iKnowMed Mobile is updated to version 12.0.0. Your app may be set to update automatically. If you've turned off this setting, check your update settings or manually update the app.

iKnowMed Mobile version 10.0.0 includes new functionality allowing users to see other providers’ schedules in the visit list, additional result flags, a redesigned login screen, and multiple fixes.
What’s New
-
Users can now tap a new icon at the top of the Visit List, choose a provider from the resource list, and view that provider’s schedule in the Visit List. A banner displays detailing which provider’s schedule is currently displayed. Dismiss the banner to return to the standard visit list. Users must have the required permissions to view other providers’ schedules in the Visit List.

Additional result flag designs have been added to make viewing abnormal results clearer.

The iKnowMed Mobile login screen has been redesigned to match iKnowMed Generation 2 designs.

In iKnowMed Mobile version 9.0.0, users can send messages directly from the patient chart and search for patients using voice input. There are also important stability and experience fixes.
What's New
-
Messages can now be sent directly from the patient chart view. Click the message icon at the top of the chart to open a new messages regarding that patient.

Patient search now supports voice input. Tap the microphone icon in the search bar to perform a voice search.

iKnowMed Mobile version 7.0.0 adds visit list improvements, saves your username at the login screen for a quicker login experience, and includes important fixes.
What's New

The visit list now displays appointment type for greater clarity regarding the patient’s upcoming appointment.

Username is now saved at the login screen making login easier. Ensure your app is up to date and FaceID is enabled for the smoothest login experience. To enable FaceID in iKnowMed mobile, go to More > Settings. Additionally, enable FaceID from the device settings through Settings > Face ID & Passcode > Use Face ID For > Other Apps > Toggle on for iKnowMed.

iKnowMed Mobile version 4.0.0 includes preparation for Okta secure login.
What's New

All users now see a 2-step login screen, entering their username first and then their password.

Internal iKnowMed Mobile superusers can now use Okta to securely log into the app.

Internal superusers who have not been migrated to Okta are notified they must migrate by December 11, 2023 to continue using iKnowMed Mobile.
iKnowMed Mobile e-Prescribe
Send new medication prescriptions, including Schedule 2 drugs, straight to the pharmacy using the latest version of iKnowMed Mobile to save time and have patients’ prescriptions ready faster.
This information will sync with the desktop version of iKnowMed to ensure you’re always working with real-time information.
The app also provides and syncs with the lists of a patient’s past and active medications and their previously ordered medications from the desktop version of iKnowMed.

2.7.0 Release Notes
January 2023
iKnowMed Mobile version 2.7.0 includes exciting updates to the Medication section of the Patient Chart. Users now have greater flexibility to view and sort medications for their individual workflows.
New Features

Instead of displaying the first 3 medications in the Medications section, users can choose to display the following medication category links: Active, Prescriptions, In House, and External. Tapping one of these links takes the user to a list of medications in that category, making it easier to manage patients with higher medication counts.

When viewing a full list of medications, users can choose to group medications by Active, Inactive, and Removed or group by Prescription, In House, and External. Additionally, users can choose to sort medications alphabetically or sort medications by date.

When viewing a list of active medications, users will see the following medication details: medication name, dose and form, route and frequency, dispense quantity, last order date, and number of refills.

When attempting to view a restricted patient chart or details regarding a restricted patient chart, users are directed to view the information on the iKnowMed Generation 2 web application.

When a user signs off on a result, the signed result is dismissed and the next result is automatically highlighted and displayed on screen.

For increased security, restricted patients can no longer be viewed in iKnowMed Mobile. When attempting to view a restricted patient, a message informs the user the restricted patient must be accessed using the iKnowMed Generation 2 web application.

User groups and individual users appear in collapsible sections when searching for recipients while composing a message, making it easier to find the desired recipient when a search returns many results.

We’re introducing a new Patient Search complication that allows users to open Patient Search on the Apple Watch with a single tap. Additionally, we’ve redesigned the complications to be compatible with more watch faces. Worklist

When viewing labs that require signature before being released to the patient portal, users will see a Sign and Release button. When viewing labs that do not require signature before being released to the patient portal, users will see a Sign button. This provides greater differentiation between labs that require signature for release, and those that do not.

When viewing a lab result, at the bottom of the screen users will see a Provider Review section that displays if the result has been signed, if it has been flagged as sensitive, and if it has been released to the patient.

When viewing multiple Worklist items, users will see a Withheld label on items that have not been released to the patient.
-
When signing and releasing a lab result that has been withheld from the patient portal, users will see a text disclaimer in the interpretations panel that says: This lab has been withheld by your practice and any interpretations or comment you add will be released to the patient.
Apple Watch

Users can now view, open, edit, and send message drafts composed on other devices from Apple Watch. The only exception to this is message drafts containing rich content such as Macros or multimedia.
